We’re always hearing
about fancy shmancy procedures that celebrities do
before award season. They’re usually crazy expensive and
out of reach for the rest of us. Not I-Lipo. It’s a non
invasive type of liposuction, takes about 30 minutes per
session and works!
Before the Golden
Globes, Jessica Alba went to the Beauty Park Medical Spa
in Santa Monica, California for i-Lipo treatments on her
stomach and thighs and two cortisone shots. You can see
how amazing she looked at the Golden Globes. Even after
two children, she’s got one rocking body.
Does i-Lipo Hurt? Nope,
the whole procedure is boring, not painless. You just
lie on a table while this itty bitty device is place on
the spot that’s being treated. You can even read while
it’s being done. 30 minutes later, you’re up and going.
You could schedule a session on your lunch break, and
then go back to work and no one would know. There isn’t
any down time!
I got a chance to try
it and I lost 2.2 centimeters—that’s a half inch from my
waistline. Normally, that would take me two weeks of
working out to lose that!
What is i-Lipo? It’s the first FDA approved low level
non-invasive treatment to get rid of cellulite, fat,
stretch marks and more. It was created in the UK, won a
slimming award in Paris and is used by patients in the
US, Canada and Australia.
How does it work?
i-Lipo emits low levels of laser energy, which creates a
chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the
stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol
and releasing them though channels in the cell
This process of fatty
acid release is a natural response of the body when the
body needs to used stored energy reserves, thus i-Lipo
is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor
does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such
as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves.
You’re supposed to work
out after to treatment to elimination from the body of
the freed fatty acids. Take a brisk walk a couple of
times around the block or do your normal workout routine
and you’ll be fine.
You can use i-Lipo on
your tum, thighs, upper arms, back, basically anyplace
you want to slim down. You can also (as stated above)
use it to say good-bye to stretch marks.
The recommended course
of treatment is 8 sessions. You can see, like I did, a
